About Alicia Gregg
Helping people has always been my mission. The first ten years after finishing my undergraduate degree, I was called to a career in which I assisted people in locating satisfying work opportunities. After a decades long sabbatical to raise three children, I realized I still heard the call to help—more now, than ever. This time, I decided to put my considerable amount of life experience to use and embarked on a new journey in counseling. In this season of my life, my purpose is to give my clients a safe place to explore their life problems—including personal, family, relationships, and career issues.
My theoretical orientation stresses that clients have free will to make choices of behaviors, feelings, and attitudes. Additionally, I believe in the importance of working together. In our partnership, we will collaborate so that you learn skills and techniques to help you meet your goals. My intention is to offer insight into your lifestyle, and to support your desire or need to change life patterns that are not working. I especially treasure the opportunity to help you find an improved sense of significance, learn to deal with feelings of discouragement in a healthy manner, and make positive contributions to others.
Change can be difficult. My goal is to provide an accepting, caring and compassionate environment in which you will feel comfortable exploring your problems and implementing beneficial changes in your life.
