Hello! My name is Caroline Dillard, and I look forward to working with individuals, couples, and families from all walks of life to reach their relationship and/or personal goals. I believe all people have the power to change their trajectory in life, and I am committed to working together with my clients to achieve this. My style of counseling includes a team mentality, views the client as an expert on her/his own life, and is centered on the power of a warm therapeutic relationship. My theoretical approach is influenced by Existentialism and includes consideration for family and relationship dynamics. I believe we are all shaped, to some degree, by the environment we are raised in which includes our learned communication habits, relationship styles, and early caregiver bonds. These constructs can greatly impact the lives we lead and are often the source of stress, pain, and sadness. Once we gain awareness of our internal climate and conditioned responses, we can disrupt these problematic patterns, which can alter any effect they have on us.
