Nothing Found

Hi there! If you’ve found yourself here it means you’ve made the courageous step to seek counseling. Often times, we don’t always understand our thoughts, feelings, or behaviors until we uncover what beliefs motivate and sustain them. Counseling provides a safe, non-judgmental setting where you can explore all of that and more.
My goal is to support clients as they navigate the hardships of life and seek a different way of being. I do this by joining in their vulnerability and guiding them to more kindness in self-discovery. My approach to counseling is rooted in listening, remaining respectful and curious to the client’s story, and operating from the client’s own values and life view. I tend to operate from a Solution-Focused approach, based on the client’s readiness to make a change. At other times I take a Narrative Therapy approach, looking at what story they are writing about themselves and what beliefs inform that story. My hope is to help clients gain more self-awareness and more self-grace as they work towards their goals. For couples I take a collaborative approach, looking at their families of origin, communication patterns, and beliefs about them self and their partner. I also make use of Gottman techniques to foster greater connection, intimacy, and closeness within relationship. My theory and approach may change or adapt based on the client’s needs and concerns, and I will always aim to utilize tools and techniques that best fit the client.
Outside of counseling, I love flowers and painting, laughing and connecting with friends, and indulging in some good cinema. If you feel like we might be a good fit on your journey to growth, please reach out. I look forward to hearing from you!
