About Nicole Hale
My approach to therapy is integrative, with a strong emphasis on identifying the strengths within their system. I embrace each client’s transformational journey through his or her worldview and experiences. I am passionate about empowering my clients and maximizing their potential to lead emotionally healthy lives. My goal through the therapeutic process is to assist an individual and/or family with establishing positive changes. I strive to provide my clients with a safe and unconditional environment for allowing personal discovery and growth.
My training began at the University of Texas San Antonio (UTSA) in the school
psychology specialist program. Prior to completing the program at UTSA, I was accepted into the school psychology doctoral program at Texas A&M University. For the past three years, I have been working as a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology for the Department of Psychological Services at Cypress-Fairbanks Independent School District located in Cypress, Texas. This is where I completed my pre-doctoral internship and post-doctoral fellowship. During this time, I completed psycho-educational evaluations for special education, offered psychological consultation to staff and parents, provided counseling as a related service, attended Individual Education Plan meetings, conducted screenings for suicidal and non-suicidal self-injurious behavior, as well as individual and campus level crisis response. I also provided parent trainings and supervised the family clinic.
