Founded by The Oakwood Collaborative in September 2018, Oakwood Roots provides affordable counseling to the community of the Brazos Valley. Oakwood Roots hires and trains empathic and exceptional counselors who are completing their graduate studies, or have already completed graduate studies in Texas.

Our waiting room is located at the front entrance of the building. Coffee and tea are available for you as you wait for your appointment, and there is a kids’ section for families as well. The office is ADA-accessible, and ADA parking is reserved in front of the building.
Located across Rock Prairie Road from The Oakwood Collaborative, Oakwood Roots is between Kwik Car Lube & Tune and the Exxon gas station.
Transportation from TAMU – Fish Camp (Route 34) drops off at Fraternity Row, a 1/2 mile from our office. If transportation is the barrier that keeps you from seeing one of our clinicians, please let your therapist know in your initial contact, and we can work together on potential solutions.
