Founded by The Oakwood Collaborative in September 2018, Oakwood Roots provides affordable counseling to the community of the Brazos Valley. Oakwood Roots hires and trains empathic and exceptional counselors who are completing their graduate studies, or have already completed graduate studies in Texas.
Group counseling can be a great supplement or an affordable alternative to individual counseling. Click here to find out more about our 6-week DBT Skills Group.
Teens, Adults, Couples, Family Counseling
We offer counseling services with sliding scale spots available so that cost is not the thing keeping you from the support you need.
Often most fitting for children between 3-12, play therapy might be a good fit for the needs of your child, and we have clinicians that are trained and supervised in work with this modality.
