Adults & Couples
In certain seasons, the circumstances of our lives feel insurmountable. It might be a transition – a new relationship or a new addition to the family – or possibly crisis or loss that brings you to seek support outside your normal group of care (friends, family, faith community). For some of the clients who come in for an evaluation, this is their first step, at the recommendation of a family doctor or psychiatrist, to clarify what will be most helpful for that doctor to provide in terms of medication for the diagnosis given by our psychologist. For others, an evaluation is requested to offer personal clarification.
For the adults and couples seeking counseling, our psychologists and counselors will walk with you through your struggles, and depending on your needs and the training of the clinician, we will sort out together with you what approach might be most beneficial for your healing. For some, this is a short-term, solution-focused approach. For others, a longer term, depth approach will be a better fit.
