My Philosophy

Life can be difficult in a variety of ways and can one feel out of touch with themselves. Therapy provides a safe place and pathway for one to experience self-awareness and growth. I view my role as a counselor to be a guiding one with the client in allowing them to reach whatever goals they may have. My therapeutic approaches may be tailored to the individuals needs and what is more appropriate. I focus on more cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and gestalt techniques through my sessions. In my experience as a student clinician, I have served populations including young adults, college students, adults, families, and elderly adults. I hope to bring new light and perspective to one in therapy, providing them with the tools they need to be successful.
