My Philosophy
As a licensed psychologist, my experience over the past 25 years has been varied, ranging from therapy and psychological testing to consulting with business and non-profit organizations. As a senior clinician, I now also enjoy supervising graduate students and early-career mental health care providers.
My approach in therapy is solution-focused, meaning I’d like us to discover what’s not working in your life and find solutions to help you live the healthiest, most satisfying life possible. In the process, we likely will discover how past emotional injuries and ongoing pain are working against you. Our goal is to find healing where there is pain, and truth where there are lies.
Outside of the therapy office, I enjoy spending time with my family. My wife and I – now empty nesters – have been married for 30 years. We have four adult children and five grandchildren.
