My Philosophy
Counseling can be life-changing, but taking that first step is often the most difficult. Zig Ziglar said, “Difficult roads often lead to beautiful places.” Sometimes we have to take a step outside of our comfort zones and try something new in order to reach a beautiful place. One of my professional goals is to make counseling comfortable by creating a calm environment that produces meaningful change through innovative and proven counseling skills. I value the ability to change and overcome. My passion to help families and individuals struggling with addiction led me to specialize in Substance Use Disorders; however, my experience consists of working with children, women, and single mothers as well. I believe that each person is unique, so counseling should be individualized to every unique person and their goals.
