FAQ
A: Most of the information you will need can be found on the New Patient link. Once we receive your New Patient Information form, we will call your insurance company to verify your benefits. After we confirm your benefits with your insurance company, we will call you back to schedule the next available appointment.
A: It usually takes no more than two business days from the time we receive your information for us to contact your insurance company, verify your benefits, and call you to schedule.
A: It depends on your particular plan. Some plans require members to pay only a co-pay, while others require members to first meet a deductible. Even within the same company (Blue Cross/Blue Shield, for example), plans can vary significantly. We want to verify your benefits before we contact you so we can inform you of exactly what costs to anticipate.
A: Our psychologists and clinicians offer a wide range of evaluations and treat a number of different conditions. Take a look at our Staff page to see what each of us offer.
A: The exact content of a psychological evaluation can vary according to the questions that need to be answered by the evaluation. A: Usually between three to five hours, again, depending on the questions that need to be answered by the evaluation. If necessary, an evaluation can be scheduled over the course of two days.
A: Please call us to confirm your appointment in advance. We are not able to change or cancel your appointment, as this is only changed with us through your examiner. If you have any questions about directions or your particular evaluation or results, don’t hesitate to call our office to discuss.
