My Philosophy
I believe therapy works best when it feels genuine, safe, and relational. My approach is centered on getting to know you as a person, your story, your experiences, your struggles, and what it feels like to navigate the world as you. I aim to create a space where you feel understood, accepted, and supported without judgment.
Many of the challenges people face such as anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, compulsive behaviors, or simply feeling stuck, often develop in response to painful experiences, unmet emotional needs, or relationships where we did not feel fully seen or cared for. Because of this, I believe healing also happens through relationship.
With curiosity, compassion, honesty, and care at the forefront I help clients move beyond simply “understanding” their problems intellectually and begin connecting with the deeper emotions underneath them. I believe our thoughts, habits, and behaviors make sense in context, even when they create pain or frustration in our lives. Rather than judging these patterns, I work collaboratively with clients to understand them and uncover what they may be communicating. Ultimately, together we will explore the changes you’d like to make, the goals that matter most to you, and what you hope might feel different in your life if therapy were to be successful.
